IDEA #2MRKJL Acid to Base Co-precipitation Synthesis Method of Manufacturing Calcium Zincate Nano-Crystals and 3D Flower-like Morphologies. 25A0023

Key Words: Calcium Zincate, Co-precipitation, 3D Flowers, Co-Precipitation This invention disclosure discusses a new method of synthesizing calcium zincate nanocrystals. Typical methods of synthesizing calcium zincate nanocrystals require a long reaction time and/or high temperature making typical methods not feasible for large scale manufacturing. This method provides an easy baseline recipe for the synthesis of calcium zincate via acidic methods which can produce calcium zincate crystals in a fast/almost instantaneous method and the waste can be easily recycled back into the process reducing some additional cost for water recycling and purification. Through this method, it is shown that calcium zincate crystals can be formed in as little as a matter of minutes, the crystals can then be dried at low temperatures in air or >50C, and the wastewater can be recycled back into the process.
