The product we developed is a Smart Lock which allows owners to manage the locks of their properties via an app.
They can unlock and unlock on command, get notifications on their phone whenever the door is locked / unlocked / opened, receive a video doorbell request from a person at the door to see who they are and decide to let them in or not remotely, and generate QR codes as temporary access guest keys.
These QR codes can be specified to work only on certain days or times and only for a limited number of scans. This makes them useful to distribute to house cleaners or pet sitters, AirBnB rentees, hotel stayers, or friends if the owner is running late. They give precise access control without giving away physical keys. They also notify the owner when they are used.
