The new process of cultivation increases the biomass production of algae cultures, thereby increasing the biomass productivity of algae for commercial applications. Our tests have shown 24-Epibrassinolide (=Brassinosteroid) to have synergistic, positive effects on algae growth when applied to cultures of green algae containing specific bacteria.

Use as much space as necessary.
Currently, for algae cultivation to be more economically feasible for biofuels and other algae-related products, the growth rate (i.e. biomass accumulation) has to be increased.
