DiPODS technology is designed to provide a modular platform for the creation of
bioconjugates via the irreversible and site-specific attachment of cargoes to proteins, peptides,
and nanomaterials. DiPODS forms a pair of covalent bonds with thiol residues while
simultaneously re-bridging disulfide linkages, a process that enables the modification of
biomolecules with toxins, radionuclides, fluorophores, etc. while maintaining the structural and
biochemical integrity of the biomolecule.
