This technology uses low concentrations of ozone to remove the scale that builds up and reduces the efficiency of the cooling tower. due to the build up of both organic alge and heavy metals in the pipes and filtration system. The Flozone technology increase the efficiency of cooling towers with an average breakeven on the cost of installation being 1.5 years. It is currently being successfully field tested at residential, academic and industrial locations including a major test by NASA and another by the Department of Education.
