The plant comprises a housing 1, mounted on a flat bed trailer 2, with a detachable aggregate sorting and storage hopper 7 and a detachable cement storage hopper 6. The housing 1 includes a concrete mixing device 12, a conveyor 10 equipped with a weighing device, a water storage tank 13 and a cement weighing device 14. On delivery to the site the housing is lifted on to a platform 4 and the storage hoppers 6,7 are secured to the roof of the housing. Measured amounts of aggregate from the site are fed from storage hopper 7 to the conveyor 10 and transported to the mixing device 12. Measured amounts of cement from storage hopper 6 and metered amounts of water are also fed into the mixing device. Concrete is discharged from outlet 9 in the base of the housing.
