TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCTION OF THE GRANULATED FOAMGLASS Description The technology is based on the process of foaming of multi-component mixtures under high-temperature; the main component is powdery cullet. The technology provides cullet washing, crushing and grinding, separating of needed fraction, mixing with other components, the preparation of a viscous mass, granulation, drying, foaming at the rotary kiln and annealing. Innovative Aspects and Main Advantages Innovations are technological design, composition and firmness of the granulated foamglass. Areas of application Granular foamglass is a very good filler of the concrete structures, which gives them a lightness, and good thermal properties. It is used in the construction of industrial and civil buildings as well as in rural construction. Stage of development Experimental plant. Fig.1.
