TECHNOLOGY AND IDUSTRIAL FACILITIES INTENDED FOR UTILIZATION
OOFF VARIOUS SORTS OOFF SOLID ORGANIC WASTE
Description
Industrial facilities intended for utilization of: worn(cid:2) out / used
aircraft and automobile tires, technical rubber products, toxic
waste materials, dehydrated sedimental solids that residue
after biological cleaning of sewer water, and other sorts of
solid organic waste from industrial and agricultural produc(cid:2)
tion, by means of thermal decomposition hereof in gas(cid:2) gener(cid:2)
ator, with subsequent production of combustible gas, are
offered by this Project.
Thus generated gas can be used in thermal boilers, in drying
facilities, as well as in form of power gas in various internal(cid:2)
combustion engine types. Electric power plants energized by
gas(cid:2) generator gas, achieve greater rates of efficiency as com(cid:2)
pared to those where direct burning of solid fuel is practiced.
Further evolution of these promising activities would create
favorable conditions for long(cid:2) term development of conversion
sector represented by a team of scientists and engineers of
the Special Research and Development Bureau for Cryogenic
Technologies in facilitation of their access to national and
international markets of labor and commodities.
The gas(cid:2) generation equipment and facilities (see relevant
Figures), developed by the SR&DB, have completely confirmed
the adopted concept of utilization of various sorts of solid
organic waste.
Gas generators are typical for inherent 1200оС to 1500оС tem(cid:2)
perature range, whereby biological waste is completely disin(cid:2)
fected, and toxic matters are entirely decomposed.
Moreover, gas generators engineered by the SR&DB, can be
circuited within an appropriate network of sustainable power(cid:2)
sources and in energy(cid:2) saving technologies.
Engineering group of the SR&DB is capable of designing fur(cid:2)
ther trends of gas(cid:2) generators’ application, alongside with
development and fabrication hereof. These work efforts are
being accomplished by the SR&DB computer(cid:2) aided engi(cid:2)
neers, skilled in design of relevant software programs, as well
as by highly(cid:2) qualified workers’ personnel, supported by a
decent park of tooling machinery.
Innovative Aspects and Main Advantages
Further joint development can be intended for accomplish(cid:2)
ment of the technology and prototype of the equipment that
can be used in industry.
