The tool has a rail (17) defining a rolling path axially introduced in a compressor body (10) by passing via an element to be dismounted e.g. volute casing (16). A centering and fixing device centers and fixes the path in an axial position with respect to the body. A carriage (18) is fixed on the element, and has a roller supported on the path. The fixing and centering device comprises a foot (20) provided at an end of the body and a plate fixed at another end of the body.
